Howard I. Darvin, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Darvin is a transplanted Clevelander via long Island. After attending Howard University for undergrad and medical school, he completed his general surgery at Mount Sinai in Cleveland. He then completed a vascular fellowship at St. Anthony's hospital in Columbus before returning to Cleveland as an attending surgeon at Mount Sinai. Dr. Darvin is board certified and a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Darvin is married and has three children.

We are pleased to provide care for arterial disease, venous disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral aneurysms, lower extremity ischemia and gangrene, claudication, carotid disease for TIA and stroke prevention, lymphedema and venous disease including varicose veins. We provide conventional vascular surgery including carotid endarectomy, lower extremity bypass, aneurysm surgery, vein stripping and dialysis access procedures. We are also pleased to offer the highest level of endovascular surgery including diagnostic arteriography, angioplasty and stenting, as well as cryotherapy angioplasty, subintimal angioplasty, thrombolytic therapy including use of the Angiojet, remote endarectomy, carotid stenting, atherectomy using the Silverhawk as well as other procedures.
